Our Christian Service

We are on a slippery slope down into the area of works when we overemphasize service to the lord as a sacrifice

Yes it is a sacrifice but when we overemphasize that rather than seeing it as a labour of love we get carried away with what we do rather than what he has done for us

We end up focusing on and priding in ourselves rather than seeing service to God as a privilege graciously given that is not to be taken lightly

He set the example of sacrificially serving us that we may follow the same path

Service means we were chosen among many not because we are special but by his grace

And much more he is the one working through us

This is what we pride ourselves in as we serve faithfully
